Old Plane provides custom metal
fabrication, repair, welding (steel and aluminum), modification, maintenance, prepurchase and
annual inspection services for the general aviation industry. This Old Plane is owned and operated by Chris  Hughes.
Chris' aviation career
began in 1986 with the maintenance of Bell helicopters in the U.S.
Army. Since his discharge in 1989, he has worked with fixed-wing
aircraft in the general aviation industry, with a specialty in antiques,
